What is ghetto?
Dictionary.com: noting something that is considered to be unrefined, low-class, cheap, or inferior: Her furniture is so ghetto!
Urban Dictionary: jury-rigged, improvised, or home-made (usually with extremely cheap or sub-standard components), yet still deserving of an odd sense of respect from ghetto dwellers and non-ghetto dwellers alike
I particularly like that^^^^^one. So... anywhore.....
Today in one of my classes, I discovered that many BHS students believe that the school is becoming ghetto. I couldn't believe it. There is no way that our school is becoming ghetto. In the neighborhood I live in? No way. FYI: Just because you have a few black (african-american; for those who like to be politically correct) students are loud and pretend to have bad grammar does not mean you are becoming a ghetto school. And FYI #2: Just because a few people from neighboring areas move in that doesn't mean your school will become ghetto either. Obviously, if they have enough money to move into your area they are a little bit more refined.
So people, let's learn our definitions of ghetto.

Why?
So... this is a blog that covers what its like to be middle class. Now while I live in a middle class neighborhood now, I didn't always. I like to believe that for the next 2 and a half years, I am an undercover spy on a mission to infiltrate and report back on the Middle Class Dynamic.
